Michael has been eating solids now for a few months. We have been trying something new every week and so far he has liked everything. At his 8mo appt, the Dr said we could start feeding him meats and add more variety than just veggies and fruit. Last week we started him on Chicken and Rice, which looks very appetizing after it's been through the blender. YUM! This morning we fed him scrambled egg yolks. He loved them and thought they would make a wonderful hair conditioner.
i served Lcpl Howey in Iraq. I was with a engineer company that was at his FOB, OP Vikings, north of fallujah from jan to early march. I remember that day when they rolled into the Fire base with the terrible news, for we had lost one of our own the first month in theatre. I find it incredible and honoring that you would name your son after these two young men. What an amazing thing to do. I wish you and your family the very best.
