After 3 days of soaking, now is the time to start putting fertilizer on your straw bales. You can choose any organic fertilizer you like. Try to go with one that is high in Nitrogen. You use about 1/2 cup per bale for days 4-6 and then you'll cut it in half for days 7-9. You then switch to a balanced 10-10-10 fertilizer for day 10 and on day 11 we PLANT!
